Attorney Marc Angelucci Murdered

A Hit To Cover Up Court Corruption?

Prominent civil-rights attorney Marc Angelucci has been murdered. Best known as lead plaintiff's attorney in NCFM v. Selective Service, Marc was my attorney, and a good friend. He was one of a very few attorneys actually willing to confront the rampant corruption in our so-called justice system.

I am in shock, and have not even begun to process this. But I feel compelled to write in the moment. For the reasons below, the timing of events appears extremely suspicious. As always, I will separate fact from inference from speculation.

Conflicting details have been put forward, but what is clear is that Angelucci was killed on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at about 4 PM, at his home in Crestline, California. According to the Mountain Reporter. an "unknown male" shot him, and was unresponsive at the scene, but according to the Desert Sun, he was still alive when first responders arrived.

Anyone with information is to call the homicide investigators at (909) 387-3589.

"Angelucci" means "angel of light". In the very dark world of family law litigation, Marc Angelucci was indeed a shining light of truth and justice. For many years was Vice President of the National Coalition for Men, and founder of its Los Angeles chapter. He put in countless hours of service helping men victimized in the court system. Marc Angelucci was a brilliant lawyer, but also a really cool guy. He loved music, especially blues and 80s metal.

To say that he will be deeply missed sounds trite, but it is true. Marc Angelucci was a real American Hero. He fought the good fight, and hell, he was just getting warmed up when he was gunned down. To Marc's killers: You may have killed his body, but you did not kill his spirit. We, the survivors, will carry on. We will keep fighting the good fight.

Speaking only for myself now: If you want me to shut up about corruption, you're going to have to kill me too. Here is a quick description of some of the cases that Marc Angelucci was involved in at the time of his murder, including some details that would warrant further investigation.

Was Angelucci prevented from getting copies of an incriminating deposition of receiver Mark Adams in the Jerry Cox case?

Marc Angelucci was involved in several litigation matters implicating court corruption. One such case as the Jerry Cox land grab in Mariposa County, California. County Receiver Mark Adams is alleged to have improperly seized Cox's breathtakingly beautiful property at the foot of Yosemite, racking up over $500,000 mostly bogus fees and expenses. When Cox challenged whether he should be made to pay, the property was sold.

After several years battling the Jerry Cox matter in court, on (or about) Monday July 6, 2020, Angelucci was finally able to take a deposition of this Receiver Mark Adams. Angelucci told me that they had "gone deep", and really pinned Adams down on some important issues. Angelucci was confident they finally had the evidence to blow the Jerry Cox case wide open, but he also complained that he was not yet able to get either the transcript or the video recording of the deposition.

Was Angelucci prevented from testifying to corruption in the Alex Baker fraud case?

Angelucci had, for a time represented me in my civil fraud case involving allegations that my ex wife stole hundreds of thousands of dollars via a series of forged music contracts, secret bank accounts and real estate deals. Handwriting experts were prepared to testify, and after 5 years, the matter was set for a jury trial in May 2020. But then, the entire case was suddenly and mysteriously dismissed, on the eve of trial, on an ex parte basis no less.

I brought a motion to overturn the dismissal, which was set for hearing at 8:30 AM, Thursday, July 9, 2020. Marc Angelucci was on the witness list for that hearing, and was going to testify about the evident corruption in the case. Late in the afternoon of Wednesday, July 8, 2020, the Clerk of the Court called and said that the hearing was "postponed" until Tuesday, July 14, 2020 because Judge Samantha Jessner had a "meeting". I've never had a court hearing "postponed" at the last minute like that, and never heard a court official refer to it as "postponed". It's called a "continuance".

Was Angelucci prevented from bringing a Motion to Vacate a corrupt child guardianship?

Back in 2018, a lovely married couple M.A. and D.A. had their daughter S.A. taken from them under clearly corrupt circumstances. There had been an allegation made by an outsider that the father, M.A., touched his daughter inappropriately many years prior. The same outsider brought a Petition for Guardianship of the child, and a DCFS investigation was launched.

On December 11, 2018, a secret, unnoticed hearing took place for temporary guardianship of S.A. Her parents, M.A. and D.A. were NOT NOTIFIED of the hearing. A minor's counsel William "Bill" Spiller Jr. had been appointed to represent S.A., and he falsely told Judge Gus T. May that the father was "on the lam", and "avoiding the proceeding". In fact, the DCFS report had already been issued, 5 days before this hearing, and the report CLEARED the father of ALL ALLEGATIONS. Judge Gus T. May issued a temporary order of guardianship anyway, and S.A. was taken away from her loving married parents who hadn't done anything wrong.

Angelucci first appeared in the case of Guardianship of S.A. on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. A hearing on the Motion to Vacate that temporary guardianship is set for August 4, 2020. The language of the moving papers is extremely strong, and alleges that minor's counsel Bill Spiller perpetrated a Fraud Upon the Court, and the deliberate violation of the parents' constitutional rights.

Was Angelucci prevented from convicting infamous Joe Yanny of Contempt of Court?

Angelucci represented me in a family law Contempt of Court matter in Los Angeles Superior Court. My ex wife and her attorney, the notorious Joe Yanny are accused of improperly taking $85,722 from a trust account. This same issue was brought to the attention of the California Bar Association, who "closed the case" and declined to discipline Mr. Yanny, despite the production of all the bank records necessary to trace the money.

As of Friday, July 10, 2020 the Contempt action against Joe Yanny was fully briefed and set for hearing on July 20, 2020.

Was Angelucci prevented from advancing Mark Andrews' Whistleblower complaint?

San Francisco bay area resident Mark Andrews was victimized years ago by a court system that unfairly took his children from him. When Andrews attempted to remedy his situation, it instead became compounded. Apparently in retaliation, a government agency stripped him of a business license under dubious circumstances. The regulatory law is clear that Andrews was entitled to a hearing on that issue, which hearing he was never given, despite his diligent efforts.

Andrews became convinced that his civil rights had been violated, and brought suit in federal court as a pro se. His case and subsequent appeal were dismissed on procedural grounds, the underlying civil rights problems were never addressed. And along the way, Andrews discovered that court transcripts had been altered so as to conceal information that would indicate court corruption.

Armed with the evidence that court transcripts had been altered, Mark Andrews filed a whistleblower complaint with a U.S. congressperson. But Andrews also had recently contacted attorney Marc Angelucci and made arrangements to pursue justice in the court system, based on the new revelation of the altered transcripts.

Was Angelucci prevented from appealing Susan Spell's racism case against Los Angeles County?

Since 2013, medical doctor and television personality Susan Spell has been engaged in contentions family law litigation against her ex husband Brian Evans, also a medical doctor. I am aware of a multitude of manifestly corrupt and mysterious events in that saga, including disappearing court orders, judges disobeying the domestic violence laws which preclude granting custody in the face of a restraining order, and much else.

One profoundly disturbing element of Susan Spell's case is a child custody report that relies on a published academic study suggesting that African American children may be subjected to higher levels of pain and discipline before it constitutes abuse, as compared to White children. Dr. Spell, who is black, brought suit as a pro se litigant in federal court against the County of Los Angeles. Marc Angelucci substituted into the case, opposing a motion to dismiss. In June 2020, Dr. Spell's case was dismissed, but Angelucci planned to appeal the issue of racial discrimination. It appears quite clear that Los Angeles County relied on an overtly racist policy in making a custody evaluation.

Was Angelucci prevented from continuing forward in Andrea Wood's Civil Rights case?

Andrea Wood, notable head of California Family Advocacy, has been battling against Contra Costa County officials for several years now. Wood was represented by Angelucci in her pending federal civil rights case, in which she alleges that the County improperly seized her children, and then subjected them to various cruelties including coerced testimony, drugging, and witnessing (if not actually participating in) child sex trafficking.
